About this tour
The Mevlevi sema, listed by UNESCO as part of humanity’s intangible heritage, lasts about an hour, with the dervishes turning to music played live by a small ensemble. It’s worth arriving a little early: there’s an exhibition at the entrance on the dervishes’ dress, instruments, books and everyday objects.
