Olympos & Chimaera at Sunset

About this tour
You’re picked up in the afternoon and travel by jeep along the coast road, up into the Taurus foothills and through the forest, partly off-road. At Olympos your guide walks you through the necropolis, the Roman baths and the theatre. Around sunset you go up to the Chimaera (Yanartaş), where gas seeping from the rock keeps small flames burning. Dinner is at a local restaurant on the way back; 4–5 hours in total.
Good to know
The Chimaera is reached on foot along a rough, stony path and you come back down after dark – good shoes and a torch help.
