About this tour
You’re picked up before dawn and taken to the launch field to watch the balloons being inflated and taking off up close. As they rise, the driver takes you out to viewpoints over the valley for a wider angle. It’s mainly a photo trip, with the sky filling up with balloons. Once they’ve landed you’re dropped back at your hotel – about an hour in all.
Good to know
Balloons only fly when the weather allows; on windy mornings there may be no launch. Early mornings are chilly.
