About this tour
You’re collected from your hotel around 9:30 with the guide and start at the Göreme panorama point. Next comes Derinkuyu Underground City, level after level of kitchens and living rooms cut into the rock. In Ihlara Valley you walk from the Ağaçaltı Church along the Melendiz stream to Belisırma village, where lunch is by the water. The afternoon covers Selime Monastery and Pigeon Valley at Uçhisar, and the day ends at an onyx workshop – 7 to 8 hours in all.
